Electrolytic Marking

Electrolytic marking is based on an electrochemical etching process where the image of a stencil is transferred to an electrically conductive product by the action of electrolyte (saline solution) and electricity.

Electrolytic marking is durable, cheap, easy and precise

Electrolytic marking with BOSE Signature Marking Devices. The exact image of a stencil is placed on an electrically conductive product by electricity and electrolyte interact.

Depending on the surface material (or its composition), and current flow are formed in interaction with our Stencils black or white or depth markings. For light or dark markings no material removal takes place. This method is therefore ideal for markers in the air andb automotive industry, bathware industry, airospace industry, energy power industry as well as medical and food technology.

There are almost unlimited graphical possibilities with electrolytic marking systems from BOSE Signature. The size of the label has almost no limits. From injection needle to container labeling, this procedure has been used for decades.

We have a large number of proprietary electrolytes available for a variety of materials.
