Electrolytes

Electrolytes are liquids involved in the marking process "electro-chemical etching". The electrolyte process Depending upen the material and its properties like hardness, plating, coating, we can make firm recommendation of electrolyte. Depending on the source material and the current flow, the result are black, white or deep etch markings-without corrosion or any other negative effects on the material. The cerrect electrolyte selection is very important. of its to received clean marks on the material. Electrolytes are non hazardous and safe to use, but should not be taken internally.

Electrolyte AE 34

Electrolyte AE-34 is our electrolyte for black marks on steel surfaces. It is typically used on stainless steel, carbon steel, Mild steel, High-speed steel, Carbide. It marks Hard chrome or chrome-plated surfaces. All marks will be black.

Applications have a wide range from cutlery, drills, tools, nozzles, appliances, engine valves, gears, crank pins, tubes, pipes, needle, medical instruments, taps, surgical instruments, ball bearings, faucet, knife blades to machined pieces, Chrome parts and carbide tools. Electrolyte AE34 very successfully marks stainless steel all grade like (202 302 304 316 420)

Use a setting of 9 Volt AC, if the mark comes out weak, go to a setting of 12 Volt AC

Electrolyte BS22

Electrolyte BS-22 is our electrolyte for black or deep etched marks on chrome surfaces. It is typically used on chrome plated surfaces, nickel plated surfaces, tools steel, tin plated surfaces.

Applications have a wide range from taps, autoparts, chrome parts tools, shower, feauct, bathfittings, medical-surgical instruments, to chef knives and may more.

The following alloys can deep etched with Electrolyte BS22 (used 24 Volt DC): chrome plated surfaces, nickel plated surfaces, tin plated surfaces.

Electrolyte BS20

Electrolyte BS-20 is our electrolyte for black or deep etched on the brass surfaces. It is typically used on brass, copper, bronze, gunmetal, and cadmium plated surfaces.

The following alloys can be deep etched with Electrolyte BS20 (use 24 volts DC): brass, copper, gunmetal, bronze.

Applications have a wide range from locks, taps, nozzles, knobs, kitchenware, valve, bushing and many more products.

Electrolyte BS38

Electrolyte BS-38 is our electrolyte for black or grey marks on aluminium surfaces. It is typically used on aluminium. depends on the aluminium surfaces marks will be black, grey or brights.

Applications have a wide range from auto parts, engine parts, almost all aluminium parts.

Use a setting of 12 Volt AC, if the mark comes out weak, go to a setting of 24 Volt AC
